The Grez-sur-Loing paintings 2018

In 2017 I was awarded s stipend by Konstnärsklubben i Stockholm (The Artists’ Club in Stockholm) and Sjögrenska fonden to be used in 2018, covering access to a studio and a flat plus money for expenses, in Grez-sur-Loing. This town is situated approximately 70 kilometers south of Paris, with ruins from a castle built in 1127. Painters and writers from many countries used to come here to work, and the streets of the town are named after some of them. The photos here show some of the paintings I made in Grez during my stay in May 2018.
